Making distance local
Small is the new big, this is what the marketing guru Seth Godin posted in his blog about couple of years ago. It is an excellent blog by the way for you who have not checked it yet; I would highly recommend you to read, you can find invaluable insight about marketing and business.
How about now, do his comments hold still true? You bet! In today’s fierce competition, being small which enables you to make decision quickly and communicate with your value network directly is getting more important than ever! Think about Facebook over MySpace, Apple over Microsoft and so on.
We have accomplished many positive things in 2007 in terms of operational efficiency and new marketing tools as you can find in our last newsletter of 2007. However, the exciting part is still yet to come… We will move forward quickly as always, adopt the change and even more importantly change the game with the help of our collaborative leadership, lifetime partnership with our agents and whole new value proposition to our customers.
This is not just a company that provides prepaid long distance services to its customers anymore as our entire competition does; rather it is an online marketing company that makes the distance local to its users. It means seamless service with smartplug, affordable pricing, stable call quality and of course honest, interactive communication with our customers and agents anytime anywhere while we started building our blogs, podcasts, lives chat, knowledgebase, video tutorials and many more.
We will continue working hard, getting smaller in terms of making decisions and moving forward while thinking big in 2008 as we did last year! Thank you for being part of it.
